Praia do Meco

      

This beach is about 15 km long, and there is always enough space for everybody.  It´s only 7 min from our house by car. There's a special mud, that is said to posess healing powers. You often meet people, covered all over with this brown or green mud.

 

At this beach you can always buy fresh vegetables and fruits where you park your car. There is also a very famous and rather expensive restaurant at this beach. 
 

 

Praia de Sesimbra
This little town is well known for its delicious fish restaurants and its beautiful beach. The colour of the water changes between green and blue.

You can reach it by bus within 10 min from our Quinta Arcadia.

The beach is ideal for families, because the water is very shallow, and there are seldom any high waves. 

 

Praia dos Bicas
We "discovered" this beautiful beach on February 2002. It has only a very small sand part, but the water has a terrific colour and the waves are an astonishing sight.
